An incredible experience
Working on Sand Parade was an incredible experience. I didn’t want to be at the mercy of the industry’s gatekeepers, so I decided to get busy, give myself a role, and tell an important story from my heart. It was of utmost importance that the team we built could carry such a specific piece on a really high level. Surrounded by a talented, professional crew, the process felt both creative and seamless, and I’m beyond proud of what we achieved together. The film has gone on to receive 5 star reviews, screen internationally at the prestigious BAFTA qualifying Rhode Island International Film Festival, and is now eligible to apply for BAFTA consideration. On top of that, it has given me an inimitable film I can carry with me throughout the industry and sets the tone for future opportunities.
